FOX 19 features CCM E-Media’s ‘Hope After Hate’ project

Cincinnati news station FOX 19 interviewed UC College-Conservatory of Music E-Media Professor Hagit Limor about the innovative “Hope After Hate” project she is leading at CCM. Inspired by her own father’s experience during the Holocaust, Limor set out to create an immersive theatre and virtual reality project that shares his story with lessons to inspire action against acts of hatred and bigotry today.

Know Theatre and CCM co-produce "The Light Chasers" world premiere

CCM professor wins Outstanding Publication Award from Society of Music Theory

The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music congratulates Steven Cahn, Professor of Music Theory, on his receipt of the prestigious 2023 Outstanding Publication Award. Representing the highest honor awarded by the Society for Music Theory, this distinction was given to Cahn’s recent article “Schoenberg, Al-Kindī, and the Unbound Braid: A Rendezvous in Barcelona a Thousand Years in the Making” (Musical Quarterly, vol. 104, nos. 3–4, 2021).

CCM Philharmonia and Choirs present J.S. Bach's "St. Matthew Passion"

The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music's Orchestral and Choral programs unite to present J.S. Bach’s St. Mathew Passion at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023 in Corbett Auditorium. Featuring the work of students, faculty and guest artists, the staged performance retells the story of the events leading up to the trial of Jesus, his crucifixion and burial.
