Returning after a two-year pandemic-induced hiatus, this nine-time Tony Award winning musical adds numerous new stops for its 2023-24 season.

UC engineering student aims to introduce robots into daily life

Yufeng Sun, University of Cincinnati aerospace engineering doctoral student, returned to academia for a transformative experience. Prior to beginning his doctoral studies, he worked for more than 10 years at Autodesk, a Computer Aided Design (CAD) software company. While at UC, he has mentored undergraduate students, served as a teaching assistant in several courses and provided visiting high school students with an introduction to aerospace engineering research. Through these interactions with students and witnessing their success, he developed a great passion for mentoring and was recently named Graduate Student Engineer of the Month from UC’s College of Engineering and Applied Science.

NEXT Innovation Scholars Program helped seal the deal for one student

Max Kemats' aspirations extend beyond personal success; he envisions a future in innovation where his dedication will forge impactful solutions forward in a wave of positive change. Currently studying economics in the University of Cincinnati's Carl H. Lindner College of Business with a planned minor in public health, Kemats said being selected for the NEXT Innovation Scholars (NIS) program was what solidified his choice of UC.

The Guardian: World Breastfeeding Week: Practice associated with 33% reduction in infant mortality

Among nearly 10 million American infants born between 2016 and 2018, breastfed babies were 33% less likely to die during the post-perinatal period (day 7-364) than infants who were not breastfed, reports a new study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, published by Elsevier. The Guardian posted an article on the research, quoting co-investigators Jane Ware, MD, and Ardythe Morrow, MD, both of the Department of Pediatrics in the UC College of Medicine.
