Ohio Innocence Project helps Michael Sutton clear his name. Sutton was found not guilty during a retrial before a Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas judge for a 2006 case involving the attempted murder of a Cleveland police officer. The trial's outcome was covered by Cleveland area media including Cleveland News 19 TV station.

The UC College of Law and Hamilton County Clerk of Courts hosted a half-day symposium, Oct. 3, to highlight some solutions to the access to justice gap many residents who can’t afford an attorney face when dealing with civil matters. The symposium and the access to justice work it hopes to advance was featured by local television stations, Fox 19 and Local 12 news.

UC Family Weekend was designed to introduce families to university life. The three-day event attracted more than 5,000 people to the Uptown campus Sept. 16-18. A pep rally, a movie night in Nippert Stadium, an evening barbecue along with host of activities on Schneider Quad offered something for UC students, their siblings, parents and other supporters.
