UC professor receives global award for engineering education

Sheryl Sorby, University of Cincinnati professor of engineering education, was awarded the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies’ Duncan Fraser Global Award for Excellence in Engineering Education. Sorby is the current president of the American Society for Engineering Education.

New UC program focuses on caring for the underserved

The UC College of Nursing and James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy are collaborating on a graduate certificate to train students to care for the underserved. There is a growing need in the community for health care workers with these skills.
