UC students present medical imaging research at international conference

Miranda Terry and Shannon Jewell, two students in the UC College of Allied Health Sciences AMIT program will present research posters at Research posters by two students in the Advanced Medical Imaging Technology (AMIT) program in the University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS) will be featured as part of the Society for MR Radiographers & Technologists (SMRT) 28th annual meeting, May 10-13, 2019 in Montreal.

UC programs adjust to a pandemic environment

The COVID-19 pandemic outbreak changed the delivery of education when it forced in-person learning at the University of Cincinnati to shut down in mid-March of 2020. Colleges at UC had to quickly scramble to reimagine how to teach their students in an unprecedented environment. Leadership at the College of Allied Health Sciences immediately began the complicated process of designing learning plans that would meet the needs of their various departments.

UC announces new chief academic officer

UC President Neville G. Pinto informed the campus community today that Valerio Ferme, PhD, dean of UC’s largest college, will begin as the university’s chief academic officer effective Aug. 3.

UC to honor 2,079 grads at summer Commencement

UC celebrates the 2021 summer Commencement on Friday in two ceremonies at Fifth Third Arena. On Saturday, UC will recognize 2020 grads with an in-person Commencement celebration.
