LastPass password manager now available for UC staff

Fortify your digital accounts

The Office of Information Security and Digital Technology Solutions recently rolled out LastPass for all University of Cincinnati staff members to simplify password management with enhanced security and convenience.

In today's digital landscape, the task of creating and managing strong, unique passwords for each product or service you use has become increasingly daunting. Fortunately, LastPass offers a comprehensive solution, helping users:

  • Create strong, unique passwords: LastPass generates complex passwords for each account, enhancing security.
  • Prevent phishing attacks: It automatically enters credentials only on legitimate websites, reducing the risk of entering them into fake domains.
  • Get alerted to breaches: LastPass notifies you if your passwords have been included in a known data breach. Avoid the need to create and remember multiple passwords.

By adopting LastPass, UC is enhancing its commitment to protecting digital identities and data.
