CCM is home to an international faculty of dedicated educators who are also celebrated professionals in their own right, and two of those faculty members were recently highlighted in a New York Times roundup of notable new classical music albums. Entitled "5 Classical Music Albums You Can Listen to Right Now," the article includes recently released performance recordings featuring CCM Associate Professor of Voice Elliot Madore and CCM Assistant Professor of Cello Sæunn Thorsteinsdóttir.

Students from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music received 16 Student Production Award nominations from the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).

First year UC College-Conservatory Oboe Professor Titus Underwood was recently featured on BBC’s Inside Sounds, sharing 16 tracks that are near and dear to his heart and carry musical influence over his performance. Underwood is the principal oboe of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, a member of the UK-based Chineke! Orchestra, and a 2021 Sphinx Medal of Excellence recipient.

Students from the Media Production Division at UC's College-Conservatory of Music won five College Student Production Awards from the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. CCM Media Production won more awards than any other program, college or university that competed in the Ohio Valley four-state region.

The Stilson Institute at CCM trailblazes a new connection between historic voice pedagogy, modern sound-inspired modalities, science-based biomechanics and world-class faculty.

Titled "A Voice Like Mine," this mini documentary spotlights bass-baritone John Mburu, who is pursuing his Master of Music degree in Voice Performance at CCM. UC College-Conservatory of Music Interim Dean Jonathan Kregor has announced the addition of acclaimed hornist Margaret Tung to the college’s roster of distinguished performing and media arts faculty members. Hailed as “masterly” in the Chicago Classical Review and “spot on at every moment” in the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Tung begins her appointment as CCM Associate Professor of Horn on Aug. 15, 2023.

UC College-Conservatory of Music Associate Professor of Horn Denise Tryon is the 2022 winner of The American Prize in Instrumental Performance in the professional division. Tryon was selected from applications reviewed from all across the United States.
