This year, students at UC’s College-Conservatory of Music are producing live, multi-camera coverage of UC Athletic events for the new ESPN+ subscription-based streaming service. CCM E-Media students shared their first broadcast on Nov. 9, 2020, and have produced nine sports broadcasts in total so far.

UC College-Conservatory of Music Arts Administration alumna Kathy Wade received a $10,000 ArtsWave grant and was recently featured by the Cincinnati Business Courier.

Twenty-three current and incoming students competed for five coveted full-tuition scholarships and $53,000 in additional awards during CCM's 2021 Opera Scholarship Competition. Six students won awards in this year’s competition, which was conducted virtually on Friday, March 5, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In April 2020, CCM doctoral student William R. Langley (MM Orchestral Conducting, ’18) was looking forward to a summer with the Cincinnati Opera as its assistant conductor. Of course, the company didn’t enjoy a regular summer season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it is currently in the process of presenting a digital winter festival. Audiences can enjoy three performances with Cincinnati Opera participants and guest artists for free anytime before March 22.

A first-year Artist Diploma student studying Opera at UC's College-Conservatory of Music, Brittany Olivia Logan has found success at three recent vocal competitions hosted by Houston Grand Opera, CCM and the Metropolitan Opera's National Council Auditions.

The Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) awarded a team of CCM Electronic Media and Acting students the 2018 Regional Student Production Award for Best Long Form – Fiction for a film they created in class. Integration Episode 1: The Update is a science-fiction drama that was created in the Spring 2018 Capstone Film course (EMED 4003), taught by Electronic Media Division Head Kevin Burke.

It has been the home to thousands of productions, concerts and recitals, where CCM's stars of tomorrow have showcased their talents for decades. Countless alumni made their debut on its stage and hundreds of thousands of audience members have been whisked away on musical journeys in its seats. In honor of 150 years of CCM’s legacy of producing the world’s next top stars, producers, educators, composers, behind the scenes artists and media personnel, Corbett Auditorium has received an upgrade.
