College and unit-level IT managers from across the university joined Digital Technology Solutions leadership to re-imagine IT collaboration at the Digital Futures building. The new “One IT” collaboration group is key to delivering more efficient and effective IT services to the university.

Campus Services IT is now part of Digital Technology Solutions (DTS), the university’s central technology services and solutions organization. The Campus Services IT team officially joined DTS Wednesday, Feb. 1. The team will continue to provide IT support and top-notch customer service to Campus Services.

The day of service helps connect UC with community neighbors and build stronger connections among university employees. Select IT services and systems will be unavailable from 6 p.m., Friday, May 12, to 8 a.m., Sunday, May 14, during a planned power outage in the university’s primary Data Center. Many commonly used cloud-hosted services will be available.

The University of Cincinnati now offers access to MATLAB technical computing, Simulink model-based design and more than 100 additional industry-standard software tools. The license provides UC students, faculty and staff members anywhere access to MATLAB software, support and technical assistance in a centralized UC MATLAB portal.

The UC Office of Information Security announces the Information Security Outreach Roadshows, interactive sessions designed to enhance cybersecurity skills university-wide. Starting January 2024, the program covers key topics like password management and phishing awareness, fostering a stronger digital security community at UC.
