Ted Isaacs was a co-op at French Bauer Dairy when they still had horse-drawn milk wagons. The horses are long gone and French Bauer is also gone, but Isaacs is still around for the long haul and sponsoring essay competitions for the College of Engineering.

The C-Ring is an award given each spring to the outstanding graduating senior women at UC. Selected by a diverse committee of UC faculty, staff, students and alumnae, the winner is announced at the annual banquet, which will be Saturday, May 14 this year.

An entry titled "A Colorful Kitchen Garden" by horticulture faculty at the College of Applied Science earned a silver medal in April's Cincinnati Flower Show.

It s a badge of honor among UC College of Applied Science students to create innovations that help the community. This year is no different. In preparation for May 20 s Tech Expo, students have created a robot to help police in hostage or other high-risk situations.

The final presentations of the 2005 "Medical Device Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program" interdisciplinary student teams will take place on Wednesday, June 1, from 4 to 5 p.m. in room 427 ERC (Engineering Research Center) on the West Uptown Campus.
