In 2007, UC received the prestigious PACE designation from an international consortium of companies. Since then, UC students have routinely exhibited projects requiring the high-end software tools that accompanied the PACE designation. In the latest competitive presentations, UC faculty and students once again received recognition for their work.

D. J. Albert, midfielder on the men's soccer team and a mechanical engineering student in the college's ACCEND program, is the Scholar-Athlete of the Month for August. Now in its fourth year, this award recognizes an athlete in a different sport each month who has demonstrated success on the field and in the classroom.
