UC faculty, grads win prestigious international research prize

The Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water will be awarded to UC College of Engineering and Applied Science distinguished research professor Dionysios Dionysiou and his student research team.

UC electrical engineering graduate developing future Intel chips

While earning her doctoral degree in electrical engineering at the University of Cincinnati, Megha Chitranshi focused her research on the creation of nanotube hybrid fabrics to foster a sustainable environment. Chitranshi now works as a yield engineer at Intel. Before she graduated, she was named Graduate Student Engineer of the Month by UC’s College of Engineering and Applied Science.

Engineering student works to create safer ground transportation

Ground transportation has a substantial impact on the daily lives of humans. Sai Bonthu, a doctoral candidate of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Cincinnati, is working to develop a product that has the potential to accurately reduce traffic accidents. Currently, he is working on a grant with the Ohio Department of Transportation and was named Graduate Student Engineer of the Month by the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
