Three members of the UC College of Law faculty Christopher Bryant, Rachel Smith and Adam Steinman are being honored as the 2007 recipients of the college's top teaching award, the Goldman Prize for Excellence in Teaching.

The sequencing of the human genome has not only opened the door to the "biology century," but has also raised many questions for society about this major scientific advance will affect how law and medicine are practiced. These questions will be the focus of a symposium on April 19, sponsored by UC's Glenn M. Weaver Institute for Law and Psychiatry and the UC College of Medicine.
