Yale Expert to Speak on Drug Regulation

Yale Medical School's Dr. David Musto, the leading historian on drug policy in the United States, will speak on "The History of Drug Regulation in America" as part of the UC College of Law's Seasongood College Visitor Program. Musto's talk is set for Monday, April 7 at 3 p.m. in Room 118 of the College of Law. It will also be available for viewing on the Web through UC's Streaming Media project.

Prison Experiences Of Minority Women Topic Of Lecture

The rate of incarceration of women has increased nearly 400 percent since 1980, with African American women constituting the largest percentage of this population. Paula C. Johnson, a law professor from Syracuse University and co-president of the Society of American Law Teachers, will discuss the reality of those who are in the system, and those who are working to help them in this Oct. 27 program at the UC College of Law.
