Signup for Ride Cincinnati by Aug. 31 and help UC fight cancer

Free t-shirt for all UC riders; and half off registration for faculty, staff who signup by Aug. 31

The University of Cincinnati community is well on its way toward doubling last year’s number of Ride Cincinnati participants from UC.

Last year was the first that UC President Neville Pinto challenged every college and unit to assemble a Ride Cincinnati team to help the university pedal its way toward life-saving cancer research and care.

In 2023, UC sent 39 riders, and already in 2024 the university has reached 60 signups. The deadline for faculty and staff to receive 50% off the registration fee is Aug. 31 (details below). UC students can join for free using a special partner code (see below). New this year, everyone who signs up from UC will also receive a free UC-branded T-shirt.

Current UC students, faculty and staff can also sign up as a virtual rider and use UC's Campus Recreation Center (CRC) stationary or spin bikes (regardless of membership status) to accomplish their Ride Cincinnati goal. The CRC on Uptown West Campus will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on September 14. Note: Spin bikes will be available from 10:00 a.m. until close. Please contact Laura Jordan to secure your spot.

Ride Cincinnati takes place Saturday, September 14, so get signed up on the Ride Cincinnati website using the instructions listed below. All funds benefit the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center and support cancer research, education and care.
