Catalyst upgrade set for later this month
Catalyst will be unavailable 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25, until 8 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 27
Catalyst, the university’s student information system, will be unavailable from 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25, until 8 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 27, during a planned system upgrade. The upgrade will improve student information system performance, reliability, and security.
What you can expect
UC Digital Technology Solutions will upgrade the Catalyst student information system during a planned maintenance period that begins at 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25.
The system will not be accessible to students (or their parents/families), faculty, or staff members until the upgrade window ends at 8 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 27.
What you need to do
Before the upgrade starts
We recommend you complete any university-related business that requires you to login to Catalyst (https://catalyst.uc.edu) before 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24.
Here’s a list of common tasks that will not be available until access is restored at 8 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 27:
- Update grades.
- Submit transcript requests, grade replacements, etc.
- Pay university-related bills.
- Or complete regular Catalyst business processes.
After the upgrade ends
