July 11 is the Deadline for Quality Service Award Nominations
The deadline for nominations for the 2003 President's Quality Service
Awards at UC is July 11. The President's Award program will honor up to six individuals and up to two teams from the university for outstanding quality service. All permanent employees of the university are eligible for nomination.
Each member of the university community is encouraged to nominate outstanding people and teams. The UC Quality Service Initiative (QSI) mission, vision, award criteria and procedures can be found online at the QSI Web site at www.qsi.uc.edu. As you prepare your nomination(s), please note the following:
- Forms and supporting materials should be submitted to Diane Lewis at Mail Location 0080, by e-mail to lewisd@ucmail.uc.edu, or may be faxed to Diane at (513) 556-4322.
- Nominations can be submitted by anyone, including self-nominations.
Up to six $1,000 awards to individuals and up to two $2,500 awards to teams may be given in each fiscal year. These are centrally funded from the QSI budget. - A subcommittee from the QSI Advisory Council will review the nominations, validate them and determine the individuals or teams to receive the awards.
