UC's Residential Restaurants Serve Thanksgiving Dinner on Veteran's Day
University of Cincinnati students can get an early taste of whats ahead for the Thanksgiving holiday. UCs MarketPointe at Sidall and the Sander Dining Center will feature a Thanksgiving-style dinner during the hours of 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Although Nov. 11 is an observed holiday at UC, Aramark executive chef Rosemary Pavinski says shes expecting a good dinner-hour turnout from students who live in the residence halls.
Pavinski created the menu for the early Thanksgiving meal, which will feature herb-roasted turkey, bread stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes with marshmallows, red-skinned mashed potatoes, a fresh vegetable medley, cranberry sauce, and three different pie selections: pumpkin, sweet potato and pecan.
Dinner at MarketPointe and at Sander runs $6.99.
Both MarketPointe and Sander will be closed over the Thanksgiving holiday and will reopen on Dec. 1.
