Homecoming 2003 Featured Fun, Football, Fans and Floats
The finer points of fun were all part of the 2003 University of Cincinnati Homecoming celebration Oct. 24-26. New university President Nancy L. Zimpher served as Grand Marshal for the homecoming parade with its fleet of floats. Local families and friends of the university lined Clifton Avenue to watch the parade. Others participated in community-building events like a six-mile "Walk as One" and attended the Homecoming carnival with its games, jugglers, clowns and face painters. Best of all, more than 22,000 fans packed Nippert Stadium to watch UC's 33-to-29 win over Army.
