Concert Series Hosts Brass Taxi
Starting off the new year for the
series, "Concerts at RWC," is Brass Taxi on
Saturday, January 24
. This fine-tuned musical machine is fully equipped to provide a ride through musical time from the 1930s to today, including Benny Goodman and Ella Fitzgerald to Andrew Lloyd Weber and Chicago, with a little Reba McIntyre and Santana thrown in for good measure. The group has appeared with or provided background brass for Mary Wilson of the Supremes, The Mama and the Papas, Harold Jackson and the Ink Spots and a variety of other singers and bands.
Single tickets are $9 and go on sale
January 5
. Group rates are available.
All "Concerts at RWC" performances are at
8 p.m.
in the Raymond Walters College Theater, 9555 Plainfield Road in Blue Ash.
