"A Black Anthology of Music" Caps ARTrageous Saturdays Season
Singer Kathy Wade brings "A Black Anthology of Music" to the state at Raymond Walters College as part of her educational program, "Learning Through Art." The April 3, 2004, show explores the origins of jazz and focuses on teaching children to "finish what they start." It creatively links the need to master basic educational skills such as reading, writing, math, thinking and listening with music.
Single tickets go on sale March 15 and are $3. Group rates are available.
