UC Announces Research Project To Explore Expansion Opportunities in Warren County

Warren county legislators, county officials and educators will preview a University of Cincinnati research venture to address the educational needs of the county. The presentation will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 16, in the Belvedere Center, Salon B, of the Kings Island Resort and Conference Center.

“As part of the University of Cincinnati’s comprehensive academic planning process, recently launched by our new president, Dr. Nancy Zimpher, we are exploring opportunities to expand service to the citizens of Warren County, particularly in areas of baccalaureate and graduate education,” said Provost Anthony J. Perzigian.

The research project will be conducted by UC’s Institute for Policy Research, nationally recognized for its research capabilities. The project is expected to get underway in early spring.

Speakers at the March 16 presentation at the Kings Island Conference Center include Anthony J. Perzigian, senior vice president and provost for Baccalaureate and Graduate Education; Lawrence J. Johnson, dean of the UC College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services; Annette Georgin, assistant director, UC Institute for Policy Research; Eric Rademacher, research associate, UC Institute for Policy Research; and Mark Carrozza, research associate, UC Institute for Policy Research.
