Finalists Announced For 82nd Annual C-Ring Award

Nineteen undergraduate senior women have been selected as finalists for the 82nd annual University of Cincinnati C-Ring Award. One of these women will be named the 2004 winner at the May 15th dinner and recognition event, featuring special guest Nancy L. Zimpher, UC's first female president.

The women are nominated by either a faculty member or a staff member and must have at least a 3.4 Grade Point Average (GPA). A committee of staff and faculty evaluate the nominees on their scholarship, leadership and advocacy for women. The finalists for the 2004 C-Ring award are:

The C-Ring Award was started in 1922 by the athletic department to recognize the "outstanding all-around senior girl". It has evolved into one of the most prestigious awards on campus. Past winners are invited to the May 15th ceremony, as well as the family and friends of this year's finalists.
