2004 Staff Service Awards & Luncheon

The college hosted its annual Staff Service Awards and Luncheon on September 8 at the UC Faculty Club. Guest Speaker and UC archivist, Kevin Grace, delivered a fun, yet informative presentation on "Athletes vs Academics: An Historical Perspective" that expounded upon collegiate athletics from the 1800's to the present.

Grace recently teamed with UC Alum and former Cincinnati Post photographer Jack Klumpe for an amazing photographic history of the nations first professional baseball team, entitled "The Cincinnati Reds 1950-1985.”

The event was planned by Corina Bizzarri (A&S business office) and Julie Stacey (biology), and Dean Gould presented service awards to all staff who attended. Congratulations to all:
