Distinguished Alumni Display Revamped

Those who have walked the first floor corridor of McMicken Hall over the past few months may have noticed a change in decor. The distinguished alumni photos and biographies that adorned the walls for many years have been removed and replaced with framed collages representing each McMicken department.

The alumni

have not disappeared forever though. A new distinguished alumni display will soon return to the first floor. Made possible by a generous donation from Professor Emeritus Paul Potter (geology), it will showcase alumni photographs and biographies.

Another new addition will be a Dean's Recognition Wall will furnished by Mrs. Patricia Orth Crockett and the Campbell Crockett Memorial Fund. Located in the dean's office, it will highlight McMicken's former deans and the college's accomplishments.

A dedication event for both displays is being planned for February.
