Nominations Due For Just Community Awards

Jane E. Henney, Senior Vice President & Provost for Health Affairs; Mitchel D. Livingston, Vice President for Student Affairs & Services; and Anthony J. Perzigian, Senior Vice President & Provost for Baccalaureate & Graduate Education encourage the UC Community to celebrate our values by recognizing people who embody them. They jointly issued the following invitation:

We encourage you to nominate someone you know for the 2005 Just Community Awards. Annually, we recognize students, faculty, staff, organizations, and offices that support the values and spirit of Just Community. This year's nominations are due March 31. Engineering alumnus honored for impact in tech industry

With more than 40 years of experience in technical computing, enterprise software, and engineering simulation, University of Cincinnati alumnus Jim Cashman’s career has spanned leadership roles at the forefront of the tech industry. During his 22-year tenure at ANSYS, including 16 years as CEO, he grew the company into the global leader in engineering simulation software, and helped organizations from Tesla to NASA innovate through virtual prototypes. Cashman was honored with the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award by the UC Alumni Association and the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
