Heavy Winds and Rain Proved Too Much for UC s Entry in the Concrete Canoe Competition

On Friday, April 1, the surveying, concrete canoe and concrete Frisbee competitions were held at A. J. Jolly Park in southern Campbell County, Ky. If UC’s hopes sank, at least their canoe did not.

Approximately 250 college students attended from 12 schools representing Ohio, Kentucky and Pennsylvania.

Each heat was hotly contested, even though the weather did not cooperate.
