Materials Camp at UC Is Not Your Average Summer Camp
The summer camp includes free meals, tuition, entertainment and knowledge. Materials Camp is a team-based, problem-solving science experience exploring materials science and engineering principles. Students use hands-on learning principles of applied math, physics, and chemistry and industrial technology classes and participate in mini-demonstrations and field trips.
The camp is sponsored by the ASM Materials Education Foundation, a branch of ASM International (formerly known as the American Society for Metals). The ASM Materials Education Foundation provides for the advancement of scientific and engineering knowledge through its support of education and research.
