Hammer Named Interim Associate Dean at UC Clermont

  Dr. Victoria Hammer was named interim Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the University of Cincinnati Clermont College.

Dr. Hammer came to the college from UC Raymond Walters College (RWC) where she was an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Office Information Technology.

Dr. Hammer’s vast array of UC experience includes spending time as a student, adjunct instructor, trainer, tenured faculty member, online instructor, academic advisor, internship coordinator, and academic department chair. 

“My entire post-secondary career has been devoted to life-long learning in an open access educational institution. I welcome this opportunity to serve the Clermont College community,” said Hammer who has successfully introduced major college initiatives by working to expand the internship program and the Weekend College through collegial decision making and faculty governance at RWC.

“We are delighted to welcome Vicki’s positive, collaborative leadership style as interim Associate Dean of Academic Affairs,” said David H. Devier, UC Clermont Dean. Adding, “We are fortunate to have such a talented administrator we can call on from the UC family.”
