UC Receives More Than $55 Million in Support During First Two Quarters

The University of Cincinnati has received more than $55 million in private support during the first two quarters of its fiscal year, which ends June 30, 2006. The total amount of gifts, which includes non-government research grants, represents a significant increase over same-period 2005 results. Through December 31, 2005, UC had more donors contributing than for the same period in the prior fiscal year.

"Gifts to UC supported many initiatives university-wide, including scholarships, professorships, student activities and forming community partnerships, according to UC Foundation Board Chair Jeff Williams. “The support of UC alumni and friends continues to grow each year.”
