UC Clermont s Surgical Technology Program Receives Endorsement
UC Clermont Colleges Surgical Technology Program recently received a full endorsement from its accrediting body.
The Committee on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) awarded full accreditation to the colleges Surgical Technology program. This important step certifies that the stringent standards established for surgical technology programs have been met and that graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified Surgical Technologist National Certification Examination. UC Clermont offers a two year associate degree in Surgical Technology.
Full accreditation is particularly satisfying in that the Surgical Technology Program is relatively new. The Surgical Technology Program is rated as one of the top 20 among the 360 programs offered nationwide by the Accreditation Review Committee for Education in Surgical Technology. Graduates are employed in hospitals, surgery centers, and doctors offices across the tri-state area.
For more information about the program contact Linda Baker, Surgical Technology Program Director at 732-5331.
