The West Woods Academic Center is a two-story 14,000 square-foot addition to the west end of the Peters-Jones Building connected via a two-story bridge.  The planning for this much needed space began four years ago to provide both instruction and office areas.  The building contains six high-tech classrooms, 20 full-time faculty offices and 20 adjunct faculty cubicles with skylights in addition to two conference rooms and a student lounge-study area looking out into the west woods.

• This is the fifth building to be completed on campus since 2000.

• College enrollment growth – 30 percent in four years.

• This new office space will relieve the full-time faculty needs as the faculty numbers have grown by 30 percent in four years.

• For the first time provides dedicated adjunct faculty space
