Clermont College names Hammer Associate Dean of Academic Affairs

Victoria Hammer was named Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the University of Cincinnati Clermont College.

Hammer served as the interim Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the last nine months. She came to the college from UC Raymond Walters College where she was an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Office Information Technology.

"Dr. Hammer is an outstanding administrator who brings a wealth of experience to the position. She provided exceptional performance this year as interim Associate Dean with a positive leadership style that helped make the year most productive. We are delighted that Victoria will continue to provide the leadership for our academic initiatives," said Dean David H. Devier, UC Clermont College.

Hammer’s array of UC experience includes spending time as a student, adjunct instructor, trainer, tenured faculty member, online instructor, academic advisor, internship coordinator, and academic department chair. Hammer recently celebrated 25 years of service with UC. 

“I have truly enjoyed working with the UC Clermont faculty, staff, students, and community members in the interim position.  I look forward to serving on the implementation committees for the Honors/Scholars, Faculty Resource Center, and Distance Learning initiatives next year and many more in the future” said Hammer.
