The UC Clermont Art Gallery presents My Family Sketches a series of oil and pastel paintings by Mount Orab artist Nathan Cremer. Cremers opening reception is July 11 at 7 p.m. and his show runs through July 28.
The art consists of figurative pieces with a family theme mostly interior settings, and some that are set at night. My two young daughters are my favorite subjects. This will be my first show, so I consider this the beginning of my career, said Cremer.
The Clermont Art Gallery is sponsored by First Clermont Bank and located in the Snyder building on the UC Clermont College campus in Batavia at 4200 Clermont College Drive. Hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. 6 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. 4 p.m. The exhibition is free and open to the public. The 2005-2006 season sponsors are First Clermont Bank, The Richard L. and Debbie L. Westheimer Family Fund and Lehrs Market.
