Respiratory Care Students Will Provide Free Screening at Eastgate Wal-Mart
UC Clermont College's Respiratory Care Program will be providing free oxygen level and lung function tests at the Eastgate Wal-Mart on Friday, October 27, 2006 from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.
The second-year respiratory care students and their instructor Mike Mullarkey will be on hand to provide testing and offer literature with the support from the American Lung Association of Ohio. Free testing will be held in the pharmacy area of the Eastgate Wal-Mart.
Respiratory Care Week is celebrated annually on the last full week in October. It was created in 1986 to promote lung health awareness in the community, educate and recruit new students into the profession - according to the American Association for Respiratory Care.
