Hager Named Assistant Dean for Administrative Services at UC Clermont

The University of Cincinnati Clermont College announces the appointment of Monte Hager as Assistant Dean for Administrative Services.

Hager brings his diverse background in administration, engineering, business consulting, and general contracting to the college.  He previously served five years as the Director of Utility Business Operations at the UC Uptown campus, where he succeeded in delivering the highest cost efficiency and operational integrity.  Hager’s broad UC experience in administrative services, purchasing, and contract management will be valuable as he assumes his new role.

"UC Clermont College is very fortunate to have Monte Hager join with us as we continue to address our mission of service to the region. He brings a wealth of experience in financial management as well as previous work within the UC system. I look forward to working closely with Monte to advance the financial status of UC Clermont," said Dean David H. Devier.

Hager replaces Robert Mick McLaughlin, who retired at the end of December.

"This is a terrific opportunity to span between the academic and administrative functions of the college and to contribute to the community where I am proud to live.  I am eager to begin working with the faculty, staff, and community supporters to advance UC Clermont and provide our students with the many opportunities we have to offer", said Hager.
