Order Your Academic Regalia for June Commencement

The following message is from Mitchel D. Livingston, UC Vice President for Student Affairs and Services:

Please join our University of Cincinnati family for the June All-University Commencement celebrations to be held at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 9th at the Fifth Third Arena. The deadline for ordering your caps and gowns for Commencement is April 10th. This deadline has been set to ensure that our vendor is able to secure institutional hoods for all faculty requests. Rentals can be picked up in the bookstores beginning on Monday, June 4th. They will be due back to the bookstore by Monday, June 11th.

As always, regalia may be ordered from the University Bookstores. Faculty may also order online by going to the www.uc.edu/commencement website and clicking on the "Cap and Gown Ordering Information" for faculty and staff. If you have questions, please contact Chris Adkins, University Bookstores, at 556-1291. Please note that our academic regalia vendor charges the University $50 for all orders.

All Winter and Spring 07 graduates will be invited to June Commencement. The Doctoral Hooding Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, June 8th for all doctoral students completing degrees this academic year.

If you have any questions regarding Commencement, please go to: www.uc.edu/commencement or contact Tom Hadley, Chair, Commencement Committee, 556-4194. Remember, academic regalia must be ordered no later than April 10th if you prefer a hood from a particular institution or college other than the University of Cincinnati.

I look forward to seeing you at June Commencement.
