UC Clermont Student Club Sponsors LAN Party

The UC Clermont College student club UCC IT Pros is sponsoring a LAN (Local Area Network) Party on Friday March 9, from 3 -9 p.m. in the Student Activities Center.

The Glen Este High School Tech Club will be participating in this event which is open to the public.

Participants need to bring their own computer systems and we'll supply the LAN. We will have some systems available on a pay to play basis. We will have console games of Xbox360 with Halo 2 and PS2 with DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) available to play, said student club president Joel G. Boothby

LAN Parties are popular among people who engage in gaming. It allows individuals to compete directly against other individuals in a more personal fashion instead of anonymously over the Internet.
