News from UC Clermont College s Aviation Technology Program

Patrick Carpenter soloed in a single-engine aircraft on April 9, 2007. This was Patrick's first flight as a student pilot without his instructor in the aircraft. Patrick is enrolled in the Aviation Technology: Professional Pilot Program at the University of Cincinnati - Clermont College. The laboratory portion of the Professional Pilot Program is taught at the Clermont County Airport.

Patrick is the son of Don and Karen Carpenter of Union Township. When Patrick completes the two-year program through the University of Cincinnati - Clermont College, he will have earned an associate of applied science degree and a commercial pilot certificate.
