News from the Aviation Technology Program at Clermont College

John Vyhnalek earned his recreational pilot certificate on April 23, 2007. To obtain his recreational certificate, John passed an oral and a flight exam with a Federal Aviation Administration designated flight examiner. John is the son of Jack and Jenny Vyhnalek of Cincinnati.

Travis Kuhn earned his private pilot certificate on May 7, 2007. To obtain his private certificate, Travis passed an oral and a flight exam with a Federal Aviation Administration designated flight examiner. Travis is the son of Duane and Holly Kuhn of Milford.

Khisha Asubuhi earned her recreational pilot certificate on June 27, 2007. To obtain her recreational certificate, Khisha passed an oral and a flight exam with a Federal Aviation Administration designated flight examiner.

When they complete the two-year program through the University of Cincinnati Clermont College, they will have earned an associate of applied science degree and a commercial pilot certificate.

These students are enrolled in the Aviation Technology: Professional Pilot Program at the University of Cincinnati Clermont College. The laboratory portion of the Professional Pilot Program is taught at the Clermont County Airport
