Presentations Focus on Violence in Romantic Relationships

UC Clermont College’s Diversity Taskforce and Psychology programs are sponsoring two presentations on violence in romantic relationships.

 

Psychologists Peter J. Green of Barton College in Wilson, N.C. and Wanda C. McCarthy of UC Clermont College will be presenting their collaborative research on November 13 and 14 at UC Clermont College. Green and McCarthy are social psychologists specializing in violence in intimate relationships.

 

“Our goal is to increase awareness of intimate partner violence and discuss current research relating to this issue,” said McCarthy.

UC Clermont baseball team wins second national title

The University of Cincinnati Clermont College men’s baseball team has taken first place in the 2024 United States Collegiate Athletic Association Small College World Series. The Cougars defeated four-time national champion Penn State Dubois to claim the program’s second title and first since 2013.
