Arctic Express Takes Kids on Magical Ride Around the World of Winter Celebrations

All aboard! This holiday season treat your students to a program that is trainloads of fun. Join Conductor David as he takes your students on a “magical” train ride around the world to learn about different holiday celebrations like Diwali, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, Ramadan, Hannukah, and of course, Christmas!

, Conductor David will use magic tricks, puppets, stories, and music, to introduce students to how people of different cultures celebrate during the winter season. Recommended ages: Grades K–6. Tickets prices are $6 for adults and $4 for children, seniors and UC students. Performances will take place in the Krueger Auditorium located in the Snyder Building on the UC Clermont College Campus.

Math-Magics classroom workshop provides “hands-on” lessons in illusion as participants perform real magic tricks and discover the math skills behind magic principles. It’s no illusion… it’s math!

Recommended ages: Grades K–5 - Snyder building, room S142 (Maximum attendance is 35)

 

The workshops are designed to compliment the performance and engage children and parents through the artistic learning process. Attendance at the performance is not required to register for a workshop. The cost of each workshop is $4 per child.

 

Calico Children’s Theatre is a UC Clermont College community initiative geared towards families with children ages 3-12 years of age.
