FRIDAY: Best-selling Author Scott Turow to Visit UC College of Law
Attorney and best-selling author Scott Turow will be at the UC College of Law on Friday, Nov. 16. He will be speaking in Room 118 at 9 a.m. on the death penalty.
The talk is free and open to the public.
Turow is one of America's most popular authors and also is a practicing attorney. He is the current chair of the Illinois Executive Ethics Commission and previously served as a member of the Illinois Commission on Capital Punishment. He was also the host of a pilot for a TV series that aired earlier this month on Court TV called "Justice Delayed."
