Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Maestro Paavo Järvi Leads Master Class at CCM Jan. 26

The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music is pleased to welcome celebrated Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Music Director Paavo Järvi for a master class with doctoral conducting students on Saturday, Jan. 26, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in CCM's Patricia Corbett Theater.  The event is free and open to the public.

 

Maestro Järvi will work with one-on-one with the students, who will be conducting the CCM Philharmonia Orchestra in selections from Gustav Mahler's Symphony #4. This event is a rare opportunity to hear one of the world's most dynamic and esteemed maestros sharing his insights about the music and his craft with emerging young conductors.
