CECH and College of Law to Sponsor Education Law Symposium on April 14
UC's College of Law and the College of Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services are teaming up to sponsor a full-day symposium on education law on April 14.
"Education Law Stories: The People and Principles Behind Education's Most Contentious Legal Controversies" will bring scholars from 11 different law schools around the nation to campus to discuss landmark cases which have shaped the boundaries of our educational system.
The symposium is free and open to the public.
The foundation for the symposium is the publication of a new text called "Education Law Stories," which is co-edited by Professors Ronna Greff Schneider of the UC College of Law and Michael A. Olivas of the University of Houston Law Center.
