UC Clermont Astronomy Club hosts speakers
The UC Clermont College Astronomy Club will host guest speakers during Astronomy Week celebrated May 5-9.
Two astronomers from the University of Cincinnati - Professors Margaret Hanson and Mike Sitko - will each talk about astronomy --the presentations are intended for general audiences. Dr. Sitko will speak about Development of Planetary Systems on Tuesday, May 6 at 7 to 8:15 p.m. and Dr. Hanson will speak about more general topics in astronomy on Thursday, May 8 from noon to 1 p.m. The presentations will be held in the Snyder Building, Room 142 at UC Clermont Colleges campus in Batavia.
The events are free and open to the public.
UC Clermont College Astronomy club is a group of astronomy enthusiasts aspiring to share their knowledge and resources with themselves and the public.
