Pianopalooza Returns April 27, Featuring 60 Fearsome Fingers
Sixty fearsome fingers tickle the ivories at PIANOPALOOZA III. The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) piano department presents this third annual benefit event, featuring performances from all six of CCM's piano faculty members: Michael Chertock, Awadagin Pratt, Eugene and Elisabeth Pridonoff, James Tocco and Frank Weinstock. Pianopalooza III - Sixty Fearsome Fingers takes over CCM's Corbett Auditorium on Sunday, April 27 at 4 p.m, featuring Fox19 anchor Jack Atherton as emcee.

Assistant Professor of Piano Michael Chertock notes, "Fingers will indeed fly as Pianopalooza III - Sixty Fearsome Fingers puts virtuosity front and center." Proceeds from the event directly benefit the CCM piano department and its students. Adds Chertock, "Pianopalooza raises funds that enable the piano department to bring in guest artists for master classes with students, providing them with fantastic learning opportunities they would not otherwise be able to experience."
