Door Prizes, Free Lunch and More at 'We're All UC' Celebration

All UC faculty and staff are invited to join us for door prizes, a free lunch – and a picture with Lucy, the baby bearcat – at Tangeman University Center’s Great Hall on Thursday, May 29, as we celebrate the university’s fourth annual faculty/staff giving campaign, "We’re All UC."

The celebration begins at 11:30, and President Zimpher will address the crowd at noon along with former student body president Jerry Tsai and faculty/staff campaign co-chair Cynthia Berryman-Fink. As a special bonus, Lucy the bearcat will be in attendance and will pose for photos with campaign donors.

A prize drawing for donors who have already given will take place at 1 p.m. It’s still not too late to make your gift to this year’s campaign and be entered for the following prizes:

  • Two tickets to the Cincinnati Reds/L.A. Dodgers game on June 18.
  • Two tickets to an upcoming performance of the Cincinnati Ballet.
  • A UC hoodie sweatshirt by Adidas.
  • A plush miniature bearcat that plays the UC fight song.
  • A UC accessory package for your pet.
  • A large zipper portfolio.
  • A restaurant package including gift cards to local favorites such as Ambar India, Holy Grail, Bruegger’s and Arby’s.

There will be a door prize drawing for all attendees that includes a tailgate package and four tickets to the UC/Eastern Kentucky Football game on Thursday, August 28. Those who have already given to the campaign this year will receive a free campaign poster (suitable for framing) and a coffee mug while supplies last.
