Explore Your Artistic Side at the CCM Preparatory Department Open House Sept. 6

The Preparatory Department of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (“CCM Prep”) invites you to an Open House at CCM on Saturday, Sept. 6, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. University faculty and staff are invited to attend and explore creative opportunities available for adults and children. 

A CCM tradition for over 100 years, CCM Prep offers classes, lessons and performing opportunities for students of all ages and abilities in music, theater and dance. More than 1,800 students participate in programs, classes and summer arts camps throughout the year.

At the Open House, prospective students can:

• Learn about the Suzuki method of instruction
• Participate in free dance classes
• Experience a eurythmics or Alexander Technique class
• Enjoy impromptu performances by CCM Prep students

Open House attendees will also have the chance to meet the CCM Prep faculty and staff and learn more about the variety of arts classes and programs right here on campus. Special adult opportunities include: tap, ballet, a new adult acting class, voice class, music theory, chamber music and private lessons.

Special offer for UC employees: UC employees and their families are eligible to receive a 10% discount on most CCM Prep classes and programs.
