In anticipation of the launch of UC’s annual Fine Arts Fund employee campaign, all UC employees are invited to enjoy the 2009 Fine Arts Fund Sample Weekend on Saturday, Feb. 21 and Sunday, Feb. 22.

"This special weekend will showcase the arts of Greater Cincinnati with a variety of FREE performances, exhibits, tours and hands-on activities for people of all ages," said Greg Vehr, vice president, Governmental Relations and University Communications.

Vehr will co-chair the UC Fine Arts Fund campaign along with Robin Dreisigacker, assistant senior vice president, Strategic Planning, Academic Health Center, and Douglas Knehans, dean, College-Conservatory of Music.

"The Fine Arts Fund Sample Weekend is the largest free arts festival of its kind in the area and helps kick off the community-wide annual Fine Arts Fund campaign," Knehans said.

For more information about the Fine Arts Fund Sampler Weekend and a list of all 80 activities, please visit http://www.fineartsfund.org/sampler

"More information about UC’s campaign, including information about how to support Cincinnati's cultural treasures, will be announced soon," Dreisigacker said.
